A mother’s words of wisdom, that every politician and philanthropist with an educational agenda should stop and listen. The mother’s words speak the truth and are well documented in what we know about early childhood development. Yet our politicians turn to a false ideology and they are influenced by those who make significant contributions to their campaign funds. We continue to fail our children, parents, and teachers when we overlook the research to push an agenda for profit; not learning.
